Big Box Demonstration at Arden Hills Army Training Site

Great River Greening, in cooperation with the Arden Hills Army Training Site. Great River Greening will be on site demonstrating and discussing the process of using a flame cap big box biochar kiln, processing brush piles, and wood waste into biochar.

• Greening staff will be onsite running big box flame-cap kilns, converting waste wood into biochar, answering questions/educate on biochar, its uses and how the kilns work.

• Greening Staff will walk attendees through the process of managing a kiln from loading to ignition to feeding to quenching.

• Demonstration will be with Big Box kiln.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Forestry, Fire professionals, Natural System Managers. Service Providers, Agriculture and Argro-forestry professionals, local SWCD and Municipal staff
